Product Description

Silica Free Stone is made using the latest technology to combine Amorphous Silica with unsaturated polymer resin. It is a stable formula. This makes the product strong and able to withstand outside forces. During production, we add couplings and other materials to make it flexible and less likely to break easily. Our Calacatta Statuario slab comes in different sizes and thicknesses to fit different needs.

When you buy silica free stone slabs, they're packed in wood bundles to keep them safe during shipping. We also offer services to cut and shape the slabs into countertops or other shapes you need. You can choose from different edge profiles for your countertops. And we make sure the finished tops are securely packed in wood crates or boxes for shipping.

Following the decision to ban engineered stone containing crystalline silica in certain regions from 1 July 2024, we want to reassure you of our commitment to safety, quality, and our ongoing innovation of cutting-edge, thin, light-weight surfaces with our Silica Free Benchtops. Amorphous Silica has a stable molecular structure which is much less hazardous to human lungs than Crystalline Silica.

Custom Stone Fabrication

Our quartz surfaces are produced and inspected by accurate and strict process management and quality control. Natural Quartz Aggregates/Sands/Powder of 92% to 93% are mixed with Unsaturated Polymer Resin, Pigment, and Coupling Agents. This makes the surfaces a qualified product for hotels, apartments, condos, hospitals, and commercial projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is artificial quartz stone?

Artificial Quartz Stone is an engineered man-made stone made from approximately 93% natural quartz, 5% resin, and 2% pigment. It is widely used for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanity tops, and flooring.

2. Why choose quartz stone over natural stone?

Compared with natural stone, quartz stone has higher density and hardness, lower water absorption, higher durability, requires zero maintenance, and offers better color consistency.

3. Is silica-free stone safe for indoor use?

Yes, our silica-free benchtops use Amorphous Silica, which has a stable molecular structure and is much less hazardous than crystalline silica, making it safe for both fabricators and end-users.

4. What sizes and thicknesses are available?

Standard slab sizes are 3200*1600mm and 3000*1400mm. Available thicknesses include 6mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, and 30mm.

5. What edge profiles can be produced?

We can produce all kinds of edge profiles, such as Eased Polished, Half Bullnose, Full Bullnose, Bevel Edge, Radius Edge, and Laminated Edges.

6. How are the products packed for shipping?

Slabs are loaded in wood bundles, while prefabricated countertops are packed in solid wooden crates with foam protection inside to ensure safety during transport.
